Description
This hanging icon features a colorful print of the Virgin Mary with the Child Jesus, flanked by two angels on clouds. The Ge’ez inscription ‘ወላዲተ አምላክ’ is clearly visible at the top. The print is bordered at the top and bottom with a deep maroon fabric trim and finished with gold-colored stitching.
ይህ ግድግዳ ላይ የሚሰቀል ስዕለ አድኖ እመቤታችን ቅድስት ድንግል ማርያምን ከሕፃኑ ኢየሱስ ጋር ያሳያል። በላዩ ላይ ‘ወላዲተ አምላክ’ የሚል ጽሕፈት በግልጽ የሚነበብ ሲሆን በስተጀርባው ሁለት መላእክት ይታያሉ። ከላይና ከታች በጥሩ ሁኔታ በወርቃማ ክር የተሰፋ የማሩን ቀለም የጨርቅ ጠርዝ አለው።
