Miracle of Basil, Bishop of Caesarea. (Story of the man who sold himself to the devil.) Isaac the martyr

On this day is commemorated the miracle which the great Saint Abba Basil, Bishop of Caesarea and Cappadocia, wrought in connection with the young man who lusted for his master's daughter, and whose heart was inflamed with love and desire for her.

From the Synaxarium, the Book of the Saints of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church, in the translation of Sir E. A. Wallis Budge (1928). Summarised — the full account is longer.
