Folding Icon of Mary and Jesus

Description

This folding diptych features two detailed icons set within a light-colored frame with rounded corners. The left panel depicts the Virgin Mary holding the Child Jesus, while the right panel shows Jesus Christ holding the Holy Scriptures and offering a blessing. Golden-colored metal hinges join the panels and include a small clasp on the side for secure closure.

ይህ ተጣጣፊ ሥዕለ አድኖ በሁለት ክፍሎች የተከፈለ ሲሆን በነጭ ፍሬም የተከበበ ነው። በግራ በኩል እመቤታችን ቅድስት ድንግል ማርያም ከልጇ ጋር፣ በቀኝ በኩል ደግሞ ጌታችን መድኃኒታችን ኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ ቅዱስ ወንጌልን ይዞ ሲባርክ ያሳያል። ሁለቱን ክፍሎች የሚያገናኝ የወርቅ ቀለም ያለው ማጠፊያና መዝጊያ አለው።
